I. ADVANTAGES

One of the greatest wonders of mother nature is the change of the egg into the chick. The development of the chick starts in the solitary cell formed by the union of two parental cells, egg and sperm, along the way known as fertilization. Special short-term organs or perhaps embryonic membranes formed within the egg, both equally to protect the embryo and to provide for their nutrition, respiration, and removal. These bodily organs include the yolk sac, amnion, and allantois. The yolk sac supplies food material to the embryo. The amnion, by attaching the embryo, provides safety. The allantois serves as a respiratory organ, gets nutrients from the cover, and manages waste. These temporary bodily organs function within the egg before the time of hatching. The research aims to understand the early advancement an egg by observing a new egg and compare this with eggs stored to get 7 days and 14 days inside the laboratory. Declaration includes seen the yolk (nucleus) and albumen (cytoplasm) and noting the morphological/developmental features and changes in the ova.

II. METHODOLOGY

During the 1st day of experiment, three new ova were helped bring. The 1st egg was opened and observed even though the two ova were classed and kept in the laboratory which will after that be observed after having a week (day 7) along with two weeks (day 14). The egg was open lightly in the region of the air cell, which can be at the significant end with the egg. Independently, the egg yolk (yellow) and white (white) were weighed utilizing a graduated cyndrical tube and had been placed in Petri dishes. Observations of the morphological features and developmental improvements were completed macroscopically. Following 1 week, the stored egg labelled time 7 and a new egg were opened on the second day of experiment. Then simply after 2 weeks, the placed egg branded day 14 and a new egg had been opened within the third day time of try things out. The same process on the initially day of experiment was executed. The experiment was conducted coming from April 13, 2012 to April 26, 2012. The subsequent illustrations present the techniques of the research.

III. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

This part presents the comparison of morphological features and illustrations of the developmental within an egg during the first day time of statement until the second week from the experiment.

A. APRIL 13, 2012 - INITIAL DAY OF OBSERVATION:

Desk 1 . Amount of Yolk and Albumen with the Fresh Egg in milliliters.

Yolk (mL)

Albumen (mL)

April 14, 2012

18 cubic centimeters

32 cubic centimeters

Table you shows that the volume of bonnyclabber is higher than the volume with the yolk. This might indicate the fact that egg is still in its early on development wherein little sum of the paste was utilized for growth and metabolic activities.

In physique 6, the yolk looks very light yellow in color and whitish places were present on the area. This indicates that cell department occurred consistently and skin cells were formed in a small group as represented by the whitish spot visible on the area of the egg yolk (Romanoff, 1998). Alternatively, figure six shows the appearance of the white which is watering and very clear. There are some whitish spots around the albumen implying probably the synthesis and usage of proteins by the developing oocyte around the yolk.

Germinal disc also called as the blastodisc was observed (Figure 8). The nucleus is inside the blastodisc (Romanoff, 1998).
