Describe and explain the formation of landforms resulting from revitalization. (15 marks)

River revitalization is the effect of a drop in sea level, which means a river provides further to go to get to the sea and therefore recieve more energy. Which means that the riv stages almost all go back one. Isostatic move is when the land goes up relative to the ocean level, due to the melting of snow sheets. Eustatic shift is when the sea level comes relative to the land, caused by the creation of glaciers sheets. A landform which can be formed through river resurgence, , revival, stimulation is knick points. A knick point is a immediate break or irregularity in a river very long profile exactly where gradient raises suddenly.
